**Job Overview** We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Anesthesia Aide to join our Operating Room team! This position will work on the East Bank campus in Minneapolis which serves an all adult patient population. **Areas of specialization include:** + Solid organ transplant + Blood and marrow transplantation + Heart disease + Cancer This position is a 0.5 FTE (40 hours every two weeks) working 8 hour shifts, working Monday through Friday (6:15am-2:45pm) with occasional weekends/holidays, and off shifts to cover vacation requests. + facilitates OR room turnover for anesthesia and operating rooms + performs cleanup of ORs + readies OR for next patient + properly cares for equipment and takes action for preventative maintenance + procures equipment + transports specimens and blood products + maintains inventory control + orders and tracks supplies + monitors arrivals of back orders + returns incorrect or damaged orders + restocks department with supplies + makes rounds to keep inventory in stock **Required:** + Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers **Preferred:** + prefer one year experience working in the health or patient care related field including six month experience working in an operating room **Benefit Overview** Fairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
