Full Time Contract Title or Role: Analytics Engineer Compensation: Market Rate Location: Remote Philippines Length of Contract: 1 Year
+ + Design, build, and maintain enterprise data platforms
+ Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake as the core data warehouse
+ Design logical and physical data models across raw, integrated, and curated data layers
+ Develop and optimize data pipelines
+ Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Matillion, Fivetran, and Python
+ Implement diverse ingestion patterns including batch, micro-batch, CDC, and streaming
+ Ensure efficient data transformations using advanced SQL and Snowflake-native capabilities
+ Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability
+ Implement data validation, reconciliation, and monitoring to ensure high data integrity
+ Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards to track pipeline health, performance, and failures
+ Proactively identify and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
+ Snowflake platform administration and optimization
+ Design and manage Snowflake schemas, warehouses, and RBAC policies
+ Optimize performance and cost through warehouse sizing, clustering, query tuning, and workload isolation
+ Maintain secure-by-default frameworks for authentication, authorization, and data protection
+ Data integration and analytics enablement
+ Integrate Snowflake with downstream analytics and BI tools such as QlikSense
+ Enable self-service analytics by delivering reliable, well-documented, and accessible datasets
+ Support multi-mart and enterprise analytics use cases
+ Cloud and architecture collaboration
+ Leverage cloud-native data warehousing concepts (elastic compute, scalable storage)
+ Collaborate with architects, analysts, and application teams to design end-to-end data solutions
+ Contribute to enterprise data architecture and modernization initiatives
+ Automation, DevOps, and documentation
+ Develop Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and custom transformations
+ Use Git-based version control (e.g., Bitbucket) and CI/CD practices for deployment and change management
+ Create and maintain clear technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational runbooks
+ Governance, security, and compliance
+ Support data governance initiatives, including data quality, metadata management, and catalog integration
+ Collaborate with QA/testing teams to ensure accurate testing and reconciliation
+ Implement and maintain security integrations (e.g., Azure AD, SSO, MFA) and follow enterprise risk mitigation practices
Qualifications: · Snowflake, SQL, EL/ELT Architecture & Development, Python · Strong expertise in Snowflake: designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, architectures, schemas, and RBAC policies; integrating with connectors (Python, JDBC/ODBC, etch); and ensuring secure-by-default frameworks with authentication, authorization, and data protection · Proficiency in advanced SQL for analytics, transformations, and performance tuning · Hands-on experience with diverse ingestion patterns (ETL, ELT, streaming, CDC, micro-batches) and strong understanding of data integration concepts and techniques · Experience maintaining and optimizing Snowflake, Matillion, Fivetran, and QlikSense architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance · Working knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native data warehousing approaches (elastic compute, scalable data stores, multi-mart support) · Skilled in creating and maintaining monitoring dashboards for pipeline health and optimization · Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation and contribute to scalable, reliable solution design Education & Certifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
