In this role, you will:

Consult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex researchUse functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision makingPerform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document processPresent recommendations to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, and complianceIdentify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiencyParticipate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processingDevelop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staffUnderstand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areaEnsure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policiesParticipate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goalsCollaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Expert: Advanced SQL (This is a mandatory requirement)Proficient: SAS Or PythonIntermediate: Tera dataIntermediate: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsUAT/regression testing experience on data outputs involving complex data mapping designs.Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithmsExperience in conducting data quality analysis to support modelling Demonstrated experience with report and dashboard generation using large data sets, including non-standard data is desired but not mandatoryAptitude for synthesizing data to 'form a story'Eagerness and ability to learn new technologies and programming languagesIntellectually curious, enjoy solving problems.Experience with RCSA process for implementing and managing system data expected output controlsPrior experience enhancing AML Monitoring Models and Systems.Acquaintance with financial crimes /regulatory/fraud dataDemonstrated experience supporting BSA/AML and sanctions/OFAC monitoring systems for global multi-channeled financial institution


Job Expectations:

Provide analytical support on data utilized by the Financial Crimes Analytics and Monitoring models/programs.Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation, profitability analysis, customer/demographic analysis, etc.Identify business requirements and analytical needs; identify and recommend potential data sources; compile and mine data from multiple, cross-business sourcesConduct data quality analysis to support modelling, including data profiling, reconciliationConsult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex researchUse functional knowledge to assist in financial crime model/non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision makingPerform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document processIdentify and define business requirements and translate financial crimes and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the controlParticipate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processingDevelop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff
