Analytical Lab Technician
Job Title: Analytical Lab TechnicianJob Description The Analytical Lab Technician is responsible for planning, organizing, performing, and reporting results from various duties under general supervision to support packaging scientists. This role involves conducting and summarizing package tests, developing new protocols, and accurately reporting results. Responsibilities + Conduct, organize, and summarize package tests, develop new protocols, processes, and accurately report results. + Operate, maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. + Furnish product and maintain inventory of supplies, chemicals, and materials needed for projects. + Prepare product packages for focus groups and in-home tests. + Assist scientists in creating new package prototypes. + Execute Action Plans to support department goals and maintain laboratory notebook. + Order laboratory supplies, raw materials, finished product samples, and other items as needed for testing or as requested by project scientists. + Adhere to all facility policies concerning safety, security, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related Life Science area. + 2 years of industry lab testing experience in Food or Pharma. + Core knowledge of the 10 Principles and expert knowledge in areas of responsibility. + Proficiency in Lab R&D methodologies, procedures, and processes. + Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency related to safety, GMP, and GLP. + Focus on Product and Quality. + Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. + Computer literacy, including MS-Office and LIMS software. + Local language proficiency and basic level of English (written and oral). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in Food or Nutritional Food, Nutraceuticals, Dietary Supplements processing or manufacturing. + Ability to work autonomously with a strong team spirit. + Hands-on, structured, precise, proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset. + Willingness to learn and a passion for innovation. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
