Analyst - Southern Europe Acquisitions

The Global Real Assets group manages commingled funds and separately mandated accounts which invest in real estate, infrastructure and maritime assets around the world. Overall, the group consists of functions such as acquisitions, asset management, finance and control, research, product development and client service. Together, they raise capital, underwrite potential investments, perform due diligence and negotiate closing documentation with respect to new transactions, manage the assets to add value throughout the ownership period and then manage the disposition process – all with an eye toward maximizing the risk-adjusted return on each investment for the clients.

As an Analyst - Southern Europe Acquisitions you will be responsible for underwriting acquisitions, taking responsibility for financial modelling and preparing business plans.

Job Responsibilities

Underwrite prospective acquisitions, taking responsibility for financial modelling and preparing business plans. Coordinate external advisors during due diligence Support negotiations with third-party lenders Work alongside joint venture partners on prospective acquisitions Investment Committee reporting Disposal strategy and execution 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Experience or specialization in real estate, in a private equity firm or investment banking  Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong work ethic Strong quantitative and analytical skills Ability to work both independently and in a small team environment Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information University degree (First class or upper second class honours) Fluency in English and Italian

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Spanish knowledge would be advantageous Exposure to value-add / opportunistic real estate strategies would be preferable
