Description:

The newly created first line of defense Financial Crimes Risk & Controls center of excellence will provide a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to our financial crimes risk management (FCRM) activities and will reside within Global Servicing.

This team will be responsible for establishing a robust control foundation for first line of defense FCRM activities across the company globally, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, payments controls, and anti-corruption. The team will partner closely with Technology to develop and deploy next generation capabilities that address key gaps and strengthen the first line’s ability to detect and prevent financial crimes across our lines of business. The team will work in coordination with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team within the Global Risk & Compliance organization. 

We are seeking an Analyst to support Financial Crimes analytics with a strong focus on data governance and reporting. The role will be responsible for supporting data governance activities, developing and maintaining KRIs and KPIs, and leveraging analytics and dashboards to identify emerging risks and enable effective Financial Crimes risk management.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of analytical and reporting engagements, from understanding business and data requirements to performing data analysis, interpretation, and translating results into clear, governed insights and reporting outputs. The role requires the ability to quickly understand new data, apply data governance principles, and develop well-structured storylines and recommendations based on logical reasoning, business context, and data-driven techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and strengthen data governance frameworks by designing analytical controls to identify, monitor, and mitigate Financial Crimes risk.Integrate and govern internal and external data sources to create reliable insights and monitoring controls for Financial Crimes prevention.Contribute to analytical projects focused on risk reduction, data governance, and the delivery of accurate, timely, and robust reporting.Assist in maintaining data quality, consistency, and documentation to support governed data usage.Partner with global stakeholders across multiple business units to drive alignment on data definitions, controls, ownership, and reporting practices.Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visual reports to monitor Financial Crimes risk, key metrics, and control effectiveness.

Past Experience:

1–3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or data governance–related roles.Preferred: Experience supporting data governance, reporting, or analytics initiatives within risk domains such as credit and fraud risk, Financial crimes risk and GRC.

Academic Background:

Bachelor's in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering with relevant experiencePreferred: Post Graduation in Management /Statistics/Mathematics/ Economics/Engineering

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

Python, SQL, Hive, PySparkAdvanced Statistical TechniquesAdvanced ExcelEnterprise Leadership BehaviorsProficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL/Python and Tableau/Power BIStrong experience in creating decks and presenting findings effectivelyExcellent communication skills in English (written & verbal both)Payments or financial services industry experience is highly desirable
