**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Analyst - Credit is responsible for managing consumer and small business lending and charge accounts and making prudent financial decisions on accounts that are both past due and current. This means understanding how and when to proactively collect and enable spend, all while providing an exceptional customer experience. Credit Analyst understands that helping our Cardmembers is at the heart of our business and its operations. An essential part of the job will be offering solutions based on the cardmembers needs and acquiring the necessary information.
You will also contact cardmembers with the goal of recommending increased spending on low risk accounts or negotiating immediate payments as necessary on high risk accounts. You may also play a role in assisting your colleagues in other departments as they deliver high quality service. At times, this position requires working with valued customers who are upset and not cooperative. You will use your skills and expertise to leave a lasting, positive impression.
**Qualifications:**
+ Previous credit experience is an asset.
+ Effective decision-making capability.
+ Customer-centric focus, with the ability to have detailed, influential financial conversations.
+ Demonstrated ability to work with little supervision and strong team work.
+ Superior oral and written communication skills; must be able to multi-task.
+ Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity while maintaining professionalism, in complex and difficult customer relationships.
+ Broad range knowledge of Operations, general business knowledge and good understanding of Banking Compliance guidelines.
+ Strong PC skills.
+ Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
+ Flexibility in schedule is a must and adaptable.
+ Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
Service schedule: We are open from 8am to 9pm, Monday to Saturday EST. Shifts could vary within these hours (Monday to Saturday).
**Qualifications**
Hiring Range: $47,000 to $71,000 annually bonus benefits
