How will you make an impact in this role?

The Analyst, Air Canada Partnership, will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that strengthen Amex’s position as the #1 premium partner in the FI space. In this role, the Analyst will become a subject matter expert on the Aeroplan portfolio, partnering closely with Air Canada and cross‑functional Amex teams to enhance cardmember value, uncover growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives across product, analytics, and partnership operations.

They will contribute to product strategy, manage day‑to‑day partnership activities, and support the delivery of benefits, services, and capabilities tied to the Aeroplan co‑brand portfolio. The successful candidate will build strong analytical capabilities through performance reporting, data analysis, and insight generation to inform portfolio decisions and shape future strategy. They will also help drive key initiatives that advance business objectives while navigating both the Air Canada relationship and internal cross‑LOB partners.

Responsibilities will include:

Partner and Portfolio Management

Be a product champion and subject matter expert of the Aeroplan portfolio and our Air Canada Cardmembers.Collaborate closely with Air Canada to find opportunities for new integrations and optimize tried and true tactics to entrench Cardmembers in the value of both Aeroplan and Amex.Partner with various cross-LOB business stakeholders to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services, and Cardmember experiences (servicing, legal, compliance, technologies, risk, etc.) for continued growth.Coordinating project milestones, and tracking and reporting progress on key initiatives.

Strategy and Analytics

Have a thorough understanding of profitability drivers and the ability to identify areas of opportunity.Support the development and execution of portfolio strategy including new capabilities, processes, and multi-year roadmaps.Develop regular reports measuring and analyzing the performance of key business metrics and recommend and implement strategic actions and solutions.Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks that inform strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive results, and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.Proven ability to analyze data sets; demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to drive results through leveraging multiple stakeholders across functions and levels to deliver on collective objectives.Operational mindset to formalize and streamline processes to foster greater efficiencies.Excellent relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills across a diverse group of internal and external partners.Proven ability to lead change and set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Hiring Range: $68,000 to $102,000 annually + bonus + benefits
