Analyst – External Manufacturing Finance

Make It uniquely yours.** In this role, you will partner closely with our External Manufacturing (EM) ecosystem to drive strong financial stewardship, shape cost performance, and enable strategic decision-making. You will operate with end-to-end ownership, high autonomy, and cross-functional exposure across EM plants, supply chain, procurement, and category finance. The role also provides a unique opportunity to support procurement negotiations through financial modeling and commercial insights. You may choose to be **based out of Surendra Nagar (Gujarat) OR Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).** _If you are based in Surendra Nagar, you will travel to the Bhopal plant on a monthly or quarterly cadence, and if you choose Bhopal as your base location, you will follow the same monthly/quarterly travel frequency to the Surendra Nagar plant._ **How You Will Contribute** **1. Business Partnering & Exposure Across EM Sites** + Coordinate with EM Plant Finance teams, Plant Managers, Procurement, and Supply Chain to drive performance tracking and cost visibility. + Provide timely insights, variance analyses, and business recommendations. + Support procurement teams during supplier and contract negotiations with financial models and scenario analyses. + Engage directly with cross-functional stakeholders, operating with significant autonomy. **2. End-to-End Financial Management** + Lead monthly books closure for assigned EM plants. + Own data collection, validation, and integrity across plant-level financial metrics. + Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, and leadership dashboards. + Drive budgetary control, including annual budget preparation and SAP uploads. **3. Cost, Variance & Productivity Analytics** + Analyse cost variances, scrap/yield metrics, operational KPIs, and productivity opportunities. + Partner with plant operations to identify root causes and recommend improvements. + Consolidate scrap losses and lead reconciliation reviews across manufacturing partners. **4. Controls, Compliance & Governance** + Ensure a robust internal controls environment across EM operations. + Support SOX compliance, plant audits, stock audits, and fixed-asset verifications. + Maintain governance standards and adherence to Mondelez financial policies. **5. Continuous Improvement & Automation** + Identify process gaps and champion automation or simplification opportunities. + Implement standardised ways of working across EM sites. + Contribute actively to a high-performing Finance community. **More Specifics About the Role** + Management of plant-level compliance and internal controls. + Preparation and reconciliation of GL balances. + Annual budget preparation, forecasting, and SAP uploads. + Review of plant KPIs and driving performance improvement actions. + Centralized tax and compliance support for EM plants. **Qualifications** + CA / CMA / MBA Finance / Commerce Graduate / CA Inter / CMA Inter + 2–4 years of relevant experience in plant finance, cost control, external manufacturing, or supply chain finance (FMCG preferred). **Technical / Functional Skills** + SAP knowledge (FICO preferred). + Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling. + Understanding of manufacturing cost structures and plant KPIs. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Behavioural Competencies** + High ownership and accountability to drive outcomes. + Excellent interpersonal and partnering skills with diverse teams. + Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities. + Continuous improvement and an automation mindset.
