Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented GIS Analyst to manage and improve our geographical information system to drive new store development at AutoZone. The GIS Analyst will be responsible for developing GIS databases, conducting spatial analyses, and producing maps, creating ESRI Online Portal Applications and Dashboards and other graphic displays of geospatial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cartography, geospatial analysis, and GIS technology, including proficiency in GIS software. You should be able to analyze complex information and make decisions regarding the most effective methods of presentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain GIS software, hardware, and related technologies.
• Develop, update, analyze, and manage GIS databases.
• Conduct spatial analyses and create information products such as maps and charts.
• Coordinate with team members and clients to determine GIS data requirements.
• Train and assist staff in GIS use and understanding.
• Implement and manage GIS projects.
• Online ESRI Portal Applications and Dashboards: Develop and maintain online applications and dashboards using ESRI’s ArcGIS Online platform. These applications will serve as interactive tools for data visualization, decision-making, and collaboration.
• Perform quality assurance checks on data.
• Design and implement data models, database structures, and integration strategies.

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools).
• 3-5 years of experience in GIS Analyst or similar analytical role
