Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the gathering and analysis of information, support the formulation and testing of hypotheses to address client business problemProduce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segmentsSupport the development of frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core businessSuccessfully collaborate with peers in VCA (e.j. Implementation services, Data Science) and other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) to execute projects and deliver value for clientsAbility to effectively manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meanings insights and recommendations for clientsAssist with the creation of business and financial models to drive project economic analysis.Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized, detail-oriented individuals with attention to details.High intellectual capability evidenced by solid analytical skills. Strong Excel skills to update opportunity models, analyze transaction data and develop MIS reportsExperience in financial or payment services gained ideally in consultancy practice, payment scheme, Acquirer or retail bankGood understanding of payments business and transaction flows and Visa Product Set and an understanding of Issuer portfolio management practicesSelf-starter who actively plans next steps with problem solving skills and curiosityGood presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to comprehend and convey complex business informationWillingness to travel throughout the covered markets as needed and the ability to work across functions and markets.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

QualificationsBachelor's degree required from top tier school, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, science) and/or business administration5+ years of relevant experience in banks/financial services and/or management consulting firms, especially in payments business, including products & services, business systems and processesStrong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorSelf-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrentlyExcellent communication, story-telling and presentation skillsStrong Excel skills to create business models, analyze transaction data and develop MIS reportsExperience developing economic and financial forecasting models is a plus.Great interpersonal skills - team playerTechnology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applicationsUnderstand how to leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivityFluent verbal and written English
