Position Summary

As a Value-Based Contracting Analyst you will support network teams on implementation and administration of Value Based Contracting (VBC) agreements. The Value-Based Contracting Analyst is essential for ensuring proactive tracking and facilitating of meeting VBC agreement incentive payment commitments throughout the contract life cycle. The Value-Based Contracting Analyst position is responsible for working with data manipulation and reporting as needed to support increasingly complex requirements to support these deals.

As part of the Value-Based Contracting Team, you will take ownership of your portfolio of markets and deals, working collaboratively with negotiators and Network managers as well as Value-Based Contracting VBC partners to ensure we meet our contractual commitments, administer incentive payments and assist in pre-deal evaluation and make recommendations. You will lead enhancements projects and projects manage process improvements. You will serve as a SME on complex questions and guide and train other team members as needed.

The larger Value-Based Contracting Team is accountable for analysis of medical costs across lines of business, supporting data for the right pricing and to develop medical cost savings initiatives. We partner with a wide range of business units across the enterprise including other Value-Based Contracting areas and Negotiators.



Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of professional work experience in finance or managed care.Experience in VBC Models of Care.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Working knowledge of VBA, SQL, or related applications.Experience communicating effectively across many levels within the organization, including Sr. Managers, Ld. Directors and Executive Directors.Experience influencing decisions by creating a strong case for action, using analytical findings based on a strong VBC and financial acumen.Be able to communicate effectively with a diverse audienceBe resourceful and quickly and successfully adapt to change

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesStrong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skillsKnowledge of VBC models and Finance.Advanced analytical Skills.Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervisionStrong Organizational and Time Management skills.Team Building Skills: ability to partner across departments to drive decisions.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
