As a member of Global Transaction Banking (GTB), CIBC Capital Markets, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll support global bank clients by providing innovative solutions to help them manage excess liquidity, provide Canadian Dollar clearing services, and build relationships to understand their capital markets requirements and anticipate future needs for CIBC Capital Markets products and services.
The Analyst, Relationship Management – Global Banks position is responsible for assisting in the management of a portfolio of foreign bank clients with operations in North America. You will support senior team members in managing relationships with Global Bank clients, understanding their Canadian clearing and capital markets requirements and collaborate with internal partners (Legal, Risk, Global Money Operations, AML) to mitigate risks inherent in clearing and trading floor business products. You will work with internal product partners in Correspondent Banking, Trade Finance, Global Cash Management, and other relevant areas by assisting in preparing client strategies and account plans to ensure a globally coordinated client approach. You will also participate in client meetings and presentations, leveraging audio/visual and iOS technology as needed and provide support for client inquiries related to sales, service, and payment challenges.
Note: We are open to considering Associates for this role based on the candidate's level of experience.

How You’ll Succeed
Client relationships - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Global RM and their bank clients to identify sales opportunities for payment and deposit products and other Capital Markets products across CIBC.
Collaboration - Collaborate with product managers and their teams to identify and pursue opportunities, close deals, and build strong relationships.
Communication - Demonstrate strong communication skills to convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different banks.
Initiatives - Take on new opportunities with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm and build formal and informal relationships both internally and externally within CIBC.
Who You Are
You have attained a bachelor’s degree in commerce or a related field. Graduate degree is an asset (MBA, CA, CFA).
You can demonstrate a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in corporate banking or transactional services with strong product knowledge.
You can demonstrate knowledge of capital markets products and familiarity with transactional services business, including payments and cash management.
