Overview of the role:

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.  is seeking an Analyst, Regulatory Affairs, for an existing opportunity (18 month fix-term contract) within our organization.  As a Regulatory Affairs Analyst at Saputo, you will provide essential support to the Regulatory Affairs team in ensuring our products comply with applicable regulations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in regulatory compliance within the food industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction while acquiring knowledge of the food regulations.    

How you will make contributions that matter:

Participate in regulatory project management and executionConduct labeling reviews and ingredient checks in accordance with Canadian federal and provincial regulationsProvide cross-functional support to internal departments, acting as a resource for regulatory and administrative needsSupport regulatory evaluations of new products and packagingSupport the approval process for ingredient, co-manufacturer, and co-packer suppliers and their itemsCoordinate and maintain internal data systems, programs, and procedures, supporting audit readiness and documentation accuracyMaintain records to ensure compliance with food safety and labeling regulationsParticipate in training sessions and team meetings to build regulatory knowledgeParticipate in the development and implementation of regulatory compliance proceduresSupport onboarding, team communication, as well as specific needs of RA manager

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or a related fieldExperience in a similar role, ideally within the food or dairy industry is an assetBasic understanding of Canadian regulatory and food safety standardsIntermediate skills in Office 365 and SharePointBilingual proficiency in French and English is essential for effective communication across teams and with external stakeholdersDetail-oriented and analytical, with a continuous learning mindset and strong organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and contributing to cross-functional teamsCurious, autonomous, and collaborative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

Salary: $66 960 - $87 890

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
