What is the opportunity?

The Market Services Solutions team is responsible for the technical sales and relationship management across RBC Investor Services Market Services’ offerings; cash, foreign exchange and securities finance. This role will involve engagement across the global Market Services trading and execution, product management and operational teams to support client driven projects and initiatives. You will be contributing to delivering the overall strategy and profitability of Market Services within RBC Investor Services. With a consultative, solutions-oriented approach you will be expected to demonstrate initiative, energy, and a meticulous attention to detail in supporting our client/prospect relationships, working on the trading-floor. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing global markets and client facing team, learning from experts in their respective fields.

What will you do?

Support the day-to-day client service management for the Market Services product suite in collaboration with other members of the Market Services Solutions team

Prepare thorough, well-researched and routine client focused materials such as reporting, presentation and sales pitches

Regularly engage with clients to manage specific operational aspects of their market services offerings such as but not limited to portfolio transitions/transformations, trade management, reporting and onboarding

Assist and/or own the preparation of client and prospect revenue estimates and/or trade flow analysis in collaboration with global trading/execution and product management teams

Participate in client and prospect meetings/interactions

Drive client intelligence, insights and market analysis to enable informed growth pipelines and support the servicing of client portfolios

Develop and own our client management intelligence database

Provide regular insights into securities financing and foreign exchange client-driven activity

Prepare client briefings for senior management

Perform market research for internal stakeholders and usage in targeted client marketing materials

Work closely with Relationship Management, Business Development, Client Management, Operations and other support teams in the holistic servicing of RBC IS clients/prospects

Fully understand the complete RBC Investor Services product scope and value proposition

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

University degree (or equivalent)

1-2 years of experience within financial services

Demonstrated and relevant experience in client management

Bilingualism (English and French)

Strong ability to absorb and analyse complex information and data, understand relevance, synthesize, summarise and convey accordingly

Solid knowledge and understanding of the financial services, asset management and asset servicing industry

Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Products, including Excel (including using Excel as a tool for financial analysis) Word, PowerPoint

Passion for global markets

Nice-to-have:

Sound technical knowledge and understanding of securities lending, foreign exchange and cash markets

Proficient in Microsoft Power BI

A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading-floor environment

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
