The Global Markets team supports fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, derivatives, equities, and growth markets and is focused on building a strong, innovative relationship-oriented bank. Within CIBC Global Markets, the ASG team specializes in developing innovative, technology-driven capital markets solutions. This unique group combines the agility and innovative spirit of a FinTech startup with the financial strength and governance protocols of a major financial institution. ASG is recognized as a global leader in providing disruptive technological solutions across various product areas, including Cross Border Payments, Dynamic Currency Conversion, and Foreign Cash white labeling. Our diverse client base includes some of the largest banks in the world, corporations, and CIBC’s retail clients. We are looking for energetic individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to help build our cross-border FX business. As a Analyst (Spanish native proficiency), you will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a dynamic, hard-working, execution-focused product team. In this position, you will support our FX cross-border business, including Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) on ATMs, Point of Sale (POS) and eCommerce. The analyst will work in our Latin America (LATAM) providing analytical and operational support to our clients in the region. DCC is a service enabled on ATMs and POS terminals that allows foreign cardholders to pay for their purchases in their home currency. This optional service provides foreign cardholders with the transparency of knowing exactly how much they will be charged. Since its inception, the DCC product team has established partnerships with over 30 financial institutions to enable this white label solution on over 100,000 ATMs worldwide. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role._ _To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time._ **How You'll Succeed** + **Leveraging Analytical Skills** _-_ Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in complex data sets and make recommendations for growth opportunities and business initiatives. Continuously monitor, track and evaluate client performance, including routine reporting. Conduct extensive quantitative research to identify and analyze industry trends and opportunities. + **Supporting our Client Relationships** - Work with associates and directors to investigate, analyze and resolve issues impacting our clients. Regularly meet with customers (in English and Spanish) to review product performance, technical projects, and value-added initiatives. + **Supporting our Sales Pipeline** - Work closely with the distribution team to support the sales cycle by creating customer-facing presentations, analysis, and ad hoc product expertise. + **Enhancing our Product and Processes** - Seek concrete and practical ways to improve our product and overall value proposition to our clients. Understand and review our processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose and implement solutions to increase productivity. **Who You Are** + **Educational Background:** You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). + **Professional Experience:** You have 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, ideally within consulting, capital markets, fintech, or product management. Experience in payments, foreign exchange, or financial technology is highly desirable. + **Analytical and Technical Skills** : You are highly analytical and data-driven, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. You have a proven ability to analyze complex data sets, perform detailed quantitative analyses, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Strong mathematical and critical thinking skills are essential. + **Strategic Communication and Presentation:** You possess exceptional communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish (native proficiency), Portuguese is an asset. You are comfortable presenting data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior executives in both languages. You also have experience creating polished, client-facing materials, including RFPs, pitch decks, and presentations, using Microsoft PowerPoint. + **Product Management Mindset:** You are client-focused and results-oriented, with a strong ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver innovative solutions.
