DIGITAL MERCHANDISE OPERATIONS ANALYST
As a Digital Merchandise Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the Digital and Merchandising organization. As part of the Digital Merchandising Operations team, you will play a key role in improving our Digital experience for Petco customers through growing our vendor partnerships and ecommerce assortment, coordinating and helping execute promotional tactics, and supporting multiple fulfillment strategies. This is a position that will wear many hats supporting the Digital business, not only through critical day-to-day functions but also executing strategic projects to optimize our catalogs, create new processes to drive efficiencies, and improve our vendor and third-party relationships. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the field of digital merchandising and analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis:
Collect, organize, and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and promotional performance to identify insights.Assist in generating reports and presentations to communicate findings and projects to cross-functional teams.Assortment Planning:
Collaborate with merchandising to develop e-commerce assortment goals and grow product assortments that align with customer preferences and company goals.Complete end-to-end onboarding of new vendors, inclusive of market research, outreach, contract negotiations, and SKU launches optimized for e-commerce.Monitor product and new vendor performance. Identify opportunities for what’s working, not working, and where there is additional assortment opportunity.Promotional Execution:
Partner with e-commerce vendors on promotional participation and execute promo setup.Work closely with Merchandising Org to ensure deadline adherence and promotions are optimized for e-commerce.Collaborate with the Site Merchandising team to create accurate and effective promotional experiences online.Fulfillment Optimization:
Cross-functional partnership with the Item Operations team to ensure product feeds are monitored and accurate.Collaborate with the Repeat Delivery team to improve the substitution process and outreach efforts.Daily inventory review of online product assortment to review overall inventory hygiene and take action to improve.Cross-Functional Support:
Work closely with merchandising, site experience, fulfillment, and other teams to ensure effective execution of Digital strategies.Project-based work tackling key ecommerce issues at scale to close gaps in assortment and catalog improvements.Create and improve workstreams to help Merchants optimize and grow their e-commerce business.Support a service-oriented working environment with the focus on providing excellent service to Merchants and Digital Teams, actively involving them in the process and leveraging everyone's expertise to achieve the best possible outcome; emphasize cooperation, shared responsibility, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising, Analytics, or a related field.1-3 years of work experience.Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Self-Starter and eager to grow in your career.Project Management skills with the ability to multitask.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.A team player who can collaborate across various departments.An interest in ecommerce, merchandising, data analytics, consumer behavior, and market trends.#LI-AT2

If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.
