**Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - Garland, Tx** **Up to $38/hr - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. This position involves repairing and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and CFC refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. **Responsibilities** + Daily operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems. + Daily operation and maintenance of boilers, pumps, and water feed systems. + Daily operation and maintenance of CFC refrigeration and A/C systems. + Daily testing and treating of boiler and cooling water systems. + Daily operation and maintenance of compressed air systems. + Daily operation and maintenance of vacuum pumps/systems. + Ability to read and follow system drawings, manuals, and P & ID drawings. + Understand and comply with Process Safety Management guidelines. + Perform building maintenance as required. **Essential Skills** + Experience with refrigeration systems, including ammonia, minimum of 3 years. + Understanding of boilers and steam boiler systems. + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills. + Ability to work at heights. + Knowledge in preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HVAC systems. + Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC and pneumatic systems. + Knowledge of food manufacturing processes. + EPA certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a globally trusted producer of delicious foods, where you can grow your career in a dynamic and innovative environment. Be prepared for night shifts on a 2-3-3-2 rotating schedule, including every other weekend, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $37.06 - $38.49/hr.
