MSCI is looking for a high-impact, commercially minded individual to join our Learning and Skills team as Regional Sales Training Lead. This individual contributor role is designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, sales and sales management training. You won’t directly manage a team, yet this matrix senior role will shape the performance of many.

This is a strategic sales training and leadership role, not just a trainer. You will directly influence revenue growth, client engagement, and go-to-market execution by embedding high-performing sales and management capabilities across your region. You will work hand-in-hand with Client Coverage, Product, Marketing, and Research teams to align training with the commercial engine of MSCI.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategic Driver of Sales Performance

Shape and deliver individual learning and regional wide training programs that drive measurable improvements in selling, client conversations, and solution positioning.Translate high-performer behaviors into regional capability-building programs that stickEmbed and develop MSCI’s sales methodologies, frameworks, and value propositions in real-world executionDeliver a regular “drum beat” of skills drills and training to embed key aspects of the sales process.

Sales Management Capability

Develop and enable frontline sales managers to lead with clarity, coach with impact, and build accountable, high-performing teamsScale sales management practices including pipeline discipline, forecasting, and performance management and repeatable behaviors

New Hire Onboarding and Productivity

Lead regional onboarding programs that expedite new joiners journey to productiveDesign and deliver skill bootcamps that accelerate readiness and close performance gaps

Commercial Alignment

Partner with Product Teams, Marketing, and Research to transition product launches, sales plays, and market insights, training content into relevant skills practices.Serve as a key voice connecting sales strategy to sales skills and capabilityAct as a skills partner for change, in supporting our client coverage colleagues growth and career

Drive Outcomes, Not Just Activity

Build strong feedback loops with managers and stakeholders to measure adoption and impactContinuously optimize learning initiatives based on business goals and clients resultsResponsible for driving a return on skill time and investment of key training initiatives.Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Essential Experience

5–10 years in client-facing sales or sales leadership training following a successful sales role within financial services, asset management, or investment solutionsExperience in sales coaching and delivery in a learning and development team, with a track record of building high-performance and sustainable capabilityCommercial acumen: you understand how learning drives results, through skill development not just knowledgeDeep familiarity with front-office sales models, buying behaviors, and client engagement best practicesExceptional presence, facilitation, and stakeholder influencing skills across levels and regionsStrong Instructional design capability in building learning solutions.

Desirable Experience

Experience delivering programs across global, matrixed environmentseLearning design using multi-modality learning solutionsFamiliarity with tools like Salesforce, Highspot, and digital learning platformsCertifications in adult learning, coaching, or instructional design (ATD, CIPD, etc.)Financial Services Accreditation (IMC, CFA, DipFA etc.)About MSCI
