As a CBRE Facilities Director, you will manage the day-to-day functions of the team responsible for building operations, meetings and events and maintenance of office facilities within a region or territory.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Manage key landlord and property manager relationships with the client’s best interests at the forefront of decision making
+ Ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements and meets or exceeds client expectations.
+ Seek and deliver scalable innovations and initiatives to improve service delivery
+ Act with a service orientated mindset that aligns with the CBRE RISE values and Client Maxims
+ Identify and document financial savings opportunities, process efficiencies and procedural improvements
+ Track, report and achieve regional facilities key performance indicators (KPIs)
+ Assist with executing operational strategies, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
+ Act as a business partner to put in place initiatives and start process improvements. Partner with account and client leadership to develop and implement strategies that optimize operational performance and support the business. Direct the business operations activities. Develop partnerships with internal and client management teams.
+ Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance, Including regulatory compliance for each facility.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
+ Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
+ Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
+ Travel expected 15-20%
+ Onsite work location is Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is required.
+ Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departmental results within a function.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc as well as Smartsheet, Airtable, and Slack.
+ Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
+ Experience working in a meeting and events environment for high profile professionals
+ Functional knowledge and understanding of facilities management required. Additional knowledge of corporate real estate preferred.
+ A tolerance for ambiguity and proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
+ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
