Who we are looking for:
State Street Alpha Services team is looking for experienced leaders to drive our Data Collection, Configuration and Conversion practice across the Alpha platform. We’re looking for professionals with experience across front and middle office operating models, business analysis, data management and project management disciplines.
The Conversion Analyst works directly with program leaders across the life span of the implementation often in partnership with other leads/analysts as needed. Activities range from cost estimation, scoping requirements and engaging with clients and internal workstream leads to facilitating data collection and adapter set up process, organizing and leading conversion events (dry run, dress rehearsal, go live). Ensuring a smooth transition to BAU working across the different business units and managing the end to end Operational Readiness workstream is also part of the Practice. The individual will be expected to coordinate and manage the activities of those involved in the implementation(s) and the conversion events themselves which could be up to 10-15 individuals located in different time zones.

What you will be responsible for:
Assists and coordinates the deliverables of conversion planning and testing in order to meet the milestones working under the guidance of a senior resourceSupports the process to create data maps to show the flow from legacy systems to the in-house system using existing functionality and processesWorks on the data conversion development lifecycle and methodology including requirements analysis, solution design, client acceptance, timeline creation, implementation, unit testing, deployment tools, and maintenanceLeads and assists on issue resolution and gap closure in terms of data provided or discrepancies in data between legacy presentation and the future state model based on the feedback providedParticipates and supports conversion events which includes some weekends and off hoursServes as part of the conversion team which will include interactions with client and internal business unitsWorks on data analysis and data conversion and with business leads on training, question resolution and assessing user needs and change recommendationAssists or manages the runbook to ensure all activities go off as planned for the lead up and any conversion eventWhat we value

5+ years of relevant Financial Industry Experience required, preferably Investment Management, Asset ManagementExperience in implementation of large client onboardings with complex architecture, multiple teams and functionalities.Experience in Migration of data into Front office and middle office systems.Experience working across teams using Jira and ConfluenceExposure to CRIMS or any other front office systems is preferredIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access skills, as well as Microsoft Project or other project management software experienceSolid understanding of Data Warehouses and Databases including SQLHigh Level knowledge or experience in Capital markets including Middle & Back Office, Securities, Bank Loans, IBOR / ABOR, Transaction Mgmt or system knowledge of CRIMS, RKS, SSCD, PAM, Portia, WSO, Eagle, Eagle Star or other is expected.Experience owning initiatives / projects related to Middle & Back Office Client On boardingAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
