This role pays: $17.50 to 22.95 per hour (DOE)

Work Hours: 3:00pm to 7:30pm

Our Servers:  Essential functions & responsibilities

Resident Meal Service

Creates a warm, positive dining atmosphere through excellent customer service.

Presents menus to residents, explains daily meal options, and provides suggestions as needed.

Answers questions about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Records food orders accurately and relays them to the kitchen.

Delivers meals and beverages promptly, ensuring appropriate temperatures are maintained.

Observes residents to identify and fulfill additional needs or requests.

Assists residents with salad and breakfast bar selections and delivers trays as necessary.

Dining Room Operations

Clears, cleans, and resets tables efficiently for upcoming meal services.

Supports daily dining room setup, including coffee brewing, dessert portioning, and soup or salad bar preparation.

Follows established food service policies and infection control procedures.

Always maintains safe and sanitary work areas.

What you need to succeed:

At least 18 years of age.

Previous server experience highly preferred.

6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.

Software experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems

Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills. 

Must possess or obtain valid First Aid certification within 30 days of hire, as required by Title 22.

Must obtain a valid California Food Handler Card (or ServSafe equivalent) within 30 days of hire and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
