**Job Description:**
**SENIOR INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - WATCH ANALYST**
The All-Source Intelligence Watch Analyst provides continuous, mission-essential intelligence support to Combatant Command J2/Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) in a 24x7x365 watch environment. This role conducts all-source analysis using classified and unclassified information to assess, interpret, forecast, and report cyber-related national security issues that are regional or functional in nature. The Watch Analyst supports collections, operations, and defense intelligence requirements by delivering timely warning, situational awareness, and actionable intelligence to decision makers.
**MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT**
As an Intelligence Analyst Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of CYBERCOM J2. You will play a crucial role in the following mission support functions:
+ _Intelligence Watch & Situational Awareness:_ Maintain persistent awareness of cyber threats, incidents, and adversary activity impacting U.S. networks and operations.
+ _Threat Indicators & Warning:_ Support defense warning and early-indicator development by tracking and reporting changes in cyber threat activity and intent.
+ _Operational Reporting:_ Deliver timely, accurate intelligence reporting and briefings to support operational decision-making and incident response.
+ _Command & Staff Support:_ Respond rapidly to J2 and JIOC requests for information and provide analytic support to leadership across shifts.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED**
Required Experience
+ Experience conducting all-source intelligence analysis in a watch, operations, or intelligence center environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a 24x7 shift-based, high-tempo mission.
+ Familiarity with cyber threat reporting, intelligence databases, and analytic tools used in USCYBERCOM operations.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing briefs, alerts, and intelligence summaries.
+ Ability to synthesize large volumes of reporting into concise, actionable intelligence products.
+ Experience supporting Defense Warning, watch operations, or incident response activities.
**EDUCATION:**
Master’s degree with 12 years related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 17 years related experience. Degree desired in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
**SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:**
Top Secret, SCI eligible and ability to pass a CI polygraph
**US citizenship required**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience supporting USCYBERCOM J2/JIOC, a combatant command watch floor, or cyber operations center.
+ Experience serving as a watch manager or shift lead.
+ Familiarity with DoDIN incident response processes and cyber threat indicator development.
+ Experience posting and maintaining intelligence products across multiple classified networks.

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
