Sodexo Live! is seeking an experieced General Manager to lead operations at our American Express Centurion Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in Los Angeles, CA.

 

This is a highly visible, premium hospitality environment designed exclusively for American Express’ most valued Card Members.  The Centurion Lounge offers an elevated guest experience featuring chef-driven cuisine, curated buffet selections, and a full-service bar all within a refined, welcoming space for discerning travelers. We are looking for a dynamic, service-driven leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, operational excellence, and people leadership.  As the General Manager, you will have full accountability for daily lounge operations, overseeing Food & Beverage Managers, Supervisors, and frontline service teams. You will play a critical role in elevating the guest experience, driving guest satisfaction scores, and fostering a culture that prioritizes engagement, accountability, and team morale.

What You'll Do

Leading all aspects of lounge operations in a fast-paced, premium airport environment

Driving exceptional guest experiences and continuously improving satisfaction metrics

Ensuring full compliance with Sodexo Live! standards, including food safety, physical safety, and regulatory requirements

Building and maintaining strong client partnerships with American Express and airport stakeholders

Developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing management and service teams

Overseeing financial performance, labor management, and operational efficiencies

have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;2-3 years experience at the GM or Director level with a recognized concept or company;possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/ordemonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs;has experience in financials, preparation and oversight. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
