PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a recognized leader in the aerospace industry to hire an Aircraft Technician. In this role, you will support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft systems and structures under close supervision, contributing directly to aircraft safety, quality, and airworthiness. What You’ll DoCommunicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments
Perform or assist with basic aircraft inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications under close supervision
Assist with movement of aircraft as required
Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and related documentation in a timely manner
Ensure all work meets established quality standards and specifications
Properly identify and tag customer property and equipment
Securely store aircraft components and customer property to prevent damage or loss
Operate ground support equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, including external power carts, hydraulic power units, lift platforms, forklifts, and compressed gas cylinders
Ensure all customer property is properly protected during maintenance activities
Additional ResponsibilitiesUse material tracking systems to create parts demand and charge labor to work orders, items, and squawks
Properly collect, handle, and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent materials
Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas
Properly use, maintain, and return company-provided tools and equipment to designated storage areas
Follow all safety rules and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment
Identify, address, and report unsafe conditions to prevent risk to personnel or property
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including participation in flight tests when required
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years toward an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred QualificationsFAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Experience working in an FAA-regulated maintenance or repair environment
Familiarity with Lean, 6S, or continuous improvement initiatives

Pay Details: $26.94 per hour
