**Job Title: Aircraft Technician**
**Job Description**
The Aircraft Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing airframe systems and components on various airframes. Working in a safe and clean environment, the technician assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing tasks while adhering to manufacturer's specifications and approved procedures. The role involves preparing and completing documentation in a timely manner, performing high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance using proper hand tools, and accurately ordering general aircraft parts as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in testing, adjusting, and repairing airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes.
+ Perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance using proper hand tools.
+ Accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.
+ Conduct minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
+ Prepare various documents for record-keeping in accordance with Company policy and FAA regulations.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing discrepancies, corrective actions, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives compliance statements.
+ Perform maintenance on Business Jets, including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon.
**Qualifications**
+ Either 4 plus years of military aircraft maintenance experience if no A&P license,
+ **OR** 1+ years experience with an FAA A&P license.
**Work Environment**
Technicians work inside a temperature-controlled hangar, heated with heated floors in winter. Shifts include 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am, and a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, with a 10% shift difference for weekend work.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
