Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician
Job Description

The role involves working on the production floor in a specialized cell focused on various aircraft parts, primarily assembling sheet metal wings. Tasks include riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling components. Reading blueprints and completing work orders are essential parts of the job, with additional tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble sheet metal wings and other aircraft parts.Perform riveting, drilling, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling.Read and interpret blueprints.Complete and document work orders.Carry out additional tasks as required by supervisors.Essential Skills5+ years of Canadian experience or 10+ years of international experience in Aircraft Structures.Proficiency in Aircraft Production Assembly, particularly wings.Expertise in sheet metal work.Ability to read and interpret work orders and plans.Additional Skills & QualificationsAME - S license is required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work location is in Sidney, near Victoria International Airport, within a unionized facility. The work schedule offers flexibility with two main shifts: 1st shift from 6AM-4:30PM, and 2nd shift from 4:30PM-3AM, Monday to Thursday, with additional opportunities for weekend shifts. The environment supports teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.

This is a Contract position based out of North Saanich, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
