**Job Title: Aircraft Painter (Will take automotive and industrial experience)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled aircraft painters to support operations at a facility located at Melbourne airport. The role requires individuals with over two years of experience in paint preparation and painting corporate jets. Candidates must possess meticulous attention to detail and have knowledge of paint weight requirements in accordance with FAA standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and paint corporate jets with precision and attention to detail.
+ Ensure compliance with FAA standards regarding paint weight requirements.
+ Perform tasks including sanding, deburring, buffing, and spray painting.
+ Operate spray guns and work in paint booths effectively.
+ Conduct inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Aircraft painting and prep experience.
+ Knowledge of aviation and aerospace industry standards.
+ Proficiency in sanding, buffing, and finishing techniques.
+ Experience with spray painting and sandblasting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Flexibility with shift availability, including 1st and 2nd shifts from Monday to Saturday.
+ Ability to work in an industrial hangar environment.
+ Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
**Work Environment**
The position is located in a hangar environment at Melbourne airport. It operates across multiple shifts, providing flexibility with one weekday and one weekend day off.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melbourne, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
