Job Description
Join a Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station that specializes in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of your fleet. We work with narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft and manage one of the largest storage and reclamation operations worldwide.
Responsibilities
Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using special tools and ground equipment in accordance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies.Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.Complete identification, inspections, routing tags and forms, and make appropriate entries into the Component Removal Log upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component.Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or other defects.Repair or replace defective engine parts, reassemble, and install engine in aircraft.Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.Essential Skills
A&P licenseExperience with heavy maintenance, commercial aircraft, line maintenance, and aircraft maintenance repairExperience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft, particularly Boeing 7771-5+ years of airframe experienceCurrent valid driver’s licenseBasic set of toolsAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work in an aircraft maintenance hangar with exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and materials outlined in Safety Data Sheets. The role involves sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, and frequently bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level. Occasionally, it requires crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 pounds unassisted. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity, along with corrected vision and hearing to normal range, are necessary. Operate aircraft ground servicing equipment such as tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, test equipment, hand tools, rivet guns, and drills. Protective equipment like goggles, safety glasses, face shields, ear protection, aprons, gloves, and safety harnesses is required. Work shifts are available: 1st shift Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm and 2nd shift Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 10:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
