Job Description
Join our team as an Aircraft Mechanic III, where you will play a vital role in inspecting and maintaining airframes, powerplants, prop rotors, ECS, fuels, and associated components. You will be contributing to general manufacturing and support for blade repair, missile system parts repair, and service prototyping for both domestic and foreign customers.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preflight, post-flight, and phase inspections, inspecting and maintaining various systems, fuel, flight controls, prop rotor (including weight and balance), utility, and power plants.Conduct hub and blade fold rigs.Carry out heavy maintenance, including engine, PRGB, and hub removal and replacement.Execute acceptance inspections of critical flight control components after rework or upon receipt from the manufacturer, as well as aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections.Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of CV-22 aircraft.Troubleshoot complex systems and subsystems.Complete O&I-level aircraft modifications, time compliance technical orders, and one-time inspections.Provide on-the-job training and documentation of training for active-duty maintenance technicians.Drive and tow aircraft and equipment on the flight line.Perform additional duties as required.Essential SkillsAt least 7 years of continuous aircraft maintenance experience in an aircraft mechanical specialty on any fixed-wing or rotary aircraft.3+ years of V-22 experience or one year of documented recent experience on the CV or V-22 or CMV-22 within the past three years.Extensive working knowledge of using technical publications, bulletins, diagrams, ground support equipment, and precision tools according to the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM).Active secret clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsSeven years of continuous aircraft maintenance experience in an Aircraft Mechanical specialty on any fixed-wing or rotary aircraft.Three years of V-22 experience.Prior APU and Blade Fold Wing Stow qualification.Aircraft Tow qualified.Refuel/Defuel qualified.Experience with tugs, forklifts, and cranes.Work Environment
This position is located at Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico, United States You will work the 1st shift The environment is dynamic and involves working with advanced aviation technologies.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.72 - $40.72/hr.
