Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems in aircraft, repairing wings, brakes, electrical systems, and other components. You will replace defective parts using hand tools or power tools and examine replacement parts for defects. You will read maintenance manuals to identify repair procedures and test aircraft parts with gauges and other diagnostic equipment. Ensuring all completed work meets performance standards and maintaining records of maintenance and repair work will be crucial in this role.

Work Environment

Work in a hangar environment equipped with industrial fans alongside other mechanics, avionics techs, and helpers. The training schedule is from 7 am to 3 or 4 pm for the first 30 to 45 days. The 1st shift runs from 5 am to 2 pm, and the 2nd shift from 11 am to 8 pm, with overlapping shifts to cover 5 am to 10 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.73 - $35.49/hr.
