**Job Title: Helicopter Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Join our team to primarily work on Bell and MD rotorcraft at a Bell customer service facility and FAA Part 145 repair station. You will focus on Bell 206 to 412 series airframes, with an emphasis on the 412.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct minor airframe inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
+ Remove and install major components, including structural repairs and component overhauls.
+ Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.
+ Track and balance aircraft components for optimal performance.
+ Remove and replace components as necessary to support aircraft operations.
+ Overhaul avionics components to ensure functionality and safety.
+ Travel to client sites for minimal day trips as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P license preferred with 5 years of experience working on rotary aircraft.
+ Experience with Bell helicopters, specifically up to the 412 model.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience with EC 145, UH-72 Lakota, Airbus H145, or DC145.

**Work Environment**
Work alongside a dedicated team including a DOM, Accountable Manager, shop supervisor, lead mechanic, and 6 mechanics in a maintenance and overhaul shop. Located in the southeast US, the work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential field work and a shared duty roster for weekend or evening emergencies. Minimal travel is required, mostly involving day trips to customer sites.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
