Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of mechanical duties on Embraer Corporate Aircraft, including Praetor models. Your role involves diagnosing malfunctions, disassembling, reworking, repairing, replacing, reassembling, and adjusting various aircraft systems to prepare them for flight and customer delivery.

ResponsibilitiesPerform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.Conduct airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.Execute routine inspections and troubleshooting, focusing on airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.Conduct airframe system and component changes and systems checkouts.Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.Comprehend and complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items.Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts; test aircraft systems.Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.Sign off work accomplished, including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, ensuring proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents.Build customer invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts mark-up calculations.Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.Maintain safety standards and ensure work adheres to the highest quality standards.Monitor and reduce excessive labor duplication costs.Ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed, and approved hardware or supplies are utilized.Essential SkillsExperience in aircraft maintenance, specifically on corporate aircraft.A&P Mechanic certification.Knowledge of Embraer Praetor and other Embraer models.Experience with Cirrus aircraft or ERJ commercial.Proficiency with Corporate Jets, Praetor 600, and other models.A&P License preferred.Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsA&P License is preferred.Experience with building customer invoices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a hanger located at Music City Airport with a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4:30 PM. Some on-call or evening/weekend hours may be required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
