Aerotek Aviation is seeking to hire an Aircraft Inspector for its client at Teterboro Airport. This experienced Aircraft Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of all aircraft maintenance operations at Teterboro Airport. This role involves inspecting airframes, powerplants, and other aircraft components to ensure adherence to aviation standards and internal quality assurance protocols. The Inspector collaborates closely with maintenance personnel to identify discrepancies and support the operational readiness of the fleet.

Core Responsibilities:

Inspection & ComplianceConduct thorough inspections of airframes, powerplants, and components during and after maintenance activities.Participate in Required Inspection Item (RII) tasks and be billable in Corridor. When not engaged in inspections, assist with hands-on maintenance as needed.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and internal procedures.Document inspection results and discrepancies accurately in maintenance logs and digital systems.Identify mechanical, structural, or electrical issues and report them promptly to the appropriate personnel.Will perform aircraft maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance (preferably with business jets) 3 or more years of Inspector experience (preferably with business jets)At least 5 years of direct involvement with FAR Part 135 and/or 145 operations.Must hold an A&P license

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
