Aircraft Component Inspector
**Job Title: Quality Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking motivated candidates for the position of Quality Inspector. This role involves receiving and inspecting aircraft components for repair and overhaul, as well as generating pre-established technical documentation and shop travelers. **Responsibilities** + Receive incoming components for repair and overhaul. + Generate documentation, technical data, and shop travelers using customer repair orders as guidance. + Perform visual and dimensional inspections using manual inspection tools to determine serviceability. + Conduct floor inspections on various machines ensuring tolerances are met. + Maintain FAA documentation and record keeping. + Prepare customer repair and overhaul quotes. + Perform final inspections and generate FAA/DOT documentation. + Assist in maintaining the FAA/DOT quality system. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, inspection, and control. + Highly motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. + Proficient in data entry and computer literate. + Ability to read, write, and understand English. + Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. + Must be willing to submit to FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test and background. + Subject to random drug and alcohol testing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in aerospace and FAA repair stations. + Possession of an A&P license is advantageous but not required. **Work Environment** The role requires physical demands typical to a quality inspection position. Employees must operate office machines and troubleshoot equipment problems.
