Aircraft Assembly Technician
Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description

As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and modifying aircraft mechanical assemblies. This involves interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, as well as following written and verbal assembly instructions and test procedures from component level to full aircraft build. You will also need basic knowledge of wire harness fabrication and installation techniques.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and modify aircraft mechanical assemblies.Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Conduct continuity checks, operational checks, and verification of various systems.Troubleshoot various systems.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Utilize pneumatic and power tools.Essential Skills3 years minimum of related experience in aerospace and/or automotive industry.Familiarity with design controls and AS9100 requirements.Hands-on experience with shop tools and calibrated tooling, including torque wrenches, crimping, and striping tools.Understanding of aircraft safety, tool control, FOD, and industry standards.Experience in a product development environment.Strong computer skills with emphasis on Google Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with adaptability to changing priorities.Must be able to distinguish colors.100% onsite work required.Valid driver's license.Familiarity with FAA certification requirements for part 23 aircraft.Composite repair, installation, and maintenance experience.New product development experience.Knowledge of IPC 610/620 and AC43.13-B.Experience with electric aircraft.A&P Certification.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is located in a new facility in Covington, GA. It is climate-controlled, very clean, and highly organized. The position requires working 100% onsite during the 2nd shift from 5 PM to 3:30 AM (10 hours).

This is a Contract position based out of NA, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
