Air Import Agent
Overview

Coordinate and manage the importation of air freight shipments from origin to destination.

Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements.

Communicate with airlines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import operations.

Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed of shipment status and addressing any concerns.

Maintain accurate records of import transactions and update internal systems as needed.

Stay up-to-date with changes in import regulations and industry best practices.

Special Duties may be assigned based on the needs of management. Your future assignments will depend on the needs of the department, your performance and capabilities

Skills and Experience Proficiency in standard computer applications; familiarity with business and export systems is preferred. Basic knowledge of international trade and export processes is an advantage. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
