Job Description

The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing and fulfilling requests to load customer pricing and commitments into our platforms. This role is crucial in addressing our current high volume of business and backlog. Pricing is completed in two platforms, with the initial and final stages of orders managed by other personnel. The Pricing Coordinator will handle the intermediate stages, involving production, research, confirmation, and data entry. The system automatically disseminates completed pricing to the appropriate contacts.

Responsibilities

Manage, complete, and respond to daily pricing requests in accordance with assigned due dates or service level agreements for new and existing customers.Ensure compliance with operational policies prior to pricing business, such as validating that commodities do not violate our restricted/prohibited commodities policy and identifying embargoed countries.Provide detailed notes on every pricing activity, clearly communicating how pricing was compiled to relevant operations staff upon award.Monitor and report monthly progress towards assigned goals and KPIs to management.Develop rapport and communicate with stakeholders at network offices to maintain up-to-date pricing for accessorial charges, enabling immediate door-to-door pricing when required by customers.Collaborate with management and peers to identify best practices and continuously improve the quality of pricing activities to enhance win ratios.Learn, understand, and utilize various pricing tools available.Support identified process improvements.Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role operates in a cubicle setting within a newly renovated space, fostering a collaborative team culture. The position follows a hybrid work model, with in-office work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and remote work on the remaining days, requiring a reliable internet connection. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, totaling 40 hours per week, with overtime available at management's discretion. The role is initially a six-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent placement. The office environment is enhanced by nearby amenities, including restaurants.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
