Job Title: Air Emissions Testing Technician

Job Description

As an Emissions Testing Technician, you will work collaboratively with project teams to conduct third-party EPA air emissions testing and monitoring at various industrial and manufacturing sites. This position involves transporting equipment using a company vehicle, setting up and breaking down testing equipment, recording data, collecting samples, and assisting engineers in air quality testing procedures. The role is primarily field-based, with 75% of the time spent on-site and 25% in the office. Office duties include calibrating, cleaning, and troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct third-party EPA air emissions testing at industrial and manufacturing sites.Transport and set up testing equipment using a company vehicle.Record data and collect samples during testing procedures.Assist engineers in air quality testing procedures.Calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot equipment in the office.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or chemistry.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to work at heights between 75-200 ft.Willingness to shave facial hair for respirator equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Degree in geology or other related fields is acceptable.Enjoyment of hands-on work and building.

Work Environment

The work environment is predominantly field-based at refineries and other industrial and manufacturing facilities, focusing on EPA emissions testing. Employees must be comfortable working in a dynamic and potentially hazardous environment. The dress code includes being clean-shaven to accommodate respirator equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
