**Part-Time AI Trainer** **Location:** Hybrid (primarily virtual with occasional, no more than quarterly, on-site sessions in Charlottesville, VA - at company cost) **Schedule:** Approximately 20 hours per week **Type:** Contract / Temp-to-Hire Opportunity **Overview:** Our partner is seeking a part-time **AI Trainer** to support our growing AI enablement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about emerging AI tools and technologies and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others in an engaging, informal training environment. You’ll help employees across departments understand and experiment with AI platforms like **Microsoft 365 Copilot** and **OpenAI ChatGPT** , with the goal of increasing comfort, creativity, and confidence with AI in everyday work. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead informal training sessions (in-person and virtual) for groups ranging from 1 to 30 people + Present and demonstrate real-time use of tools like **M365 Copilot** , **ChatGPT** , and other generative AI platforms + Facilitate open forum discussions and hands-on Q&A sessions + Maintain and update basic course content and learning modules + Collaborate with internal teams to support AI adoption across various use cases + Create simple, engaging educational content (e.g., 30-second video reels or microlearning clips) that highlight new AI features or tips + Potential to expand into more instructional design or content development depending on interest and skillset **Required Qualifications:** + Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for **AI tools and platforms** + Demonstrated experience with **Microsoft 365** (especially Copilot, Teams, and related apps) and **OpenAI ChatGPT** + Solid understanding of **basic scripting and automation within M365/O365** + Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills + Comfortable leading informal training sessions and managing open-ended discussions + Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new tools and explain them clearly to others **Preferred Skills:** + Familiarity with **instructional design** tools and techniques + Experience using **Articulate Rise** , **ElevenLabs** , **Lumen5** , **Atlassian** , and **SharePoint** + Prior work in **learning & development** , **IT training** , and **AI adoption** support + Content creation or video editing skills for microlearning (e.g., video demos, AI tips) **Travel & Location Expectations:** + While primarily a virtual position, there may be occasional on-site engagements, generally no more than quarterly + Travel is not required but may be beneficial for in-person retreats or division-led sessions (primarily on the East Coast) + Not a deal breaker for the right person; being on-site is preferred but not mandatory **Why Join Us:** This role offers a unique opportunity to **explore and shape how AI is used** across our company, helping colleagues boost productivity and discover creative solutions.
