Job Description We're looking for a Product Owner to join the team of a large fleet management client and support their AI and ML initiatives. This team is working to drive the end-to-end development of a new AI agent that will be integrated into an existing enterprise application. Day to day, this Product Owner will split their time gathering requirements, writing user stories, and defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap. They'll also be responsible for being hands-on in the creation of AI solutions, including contributing to prompt engineering, and collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to bring the AI assistant into beta this year. This individual will also have analytical responsibilities, working with large databases and writing SQL queries. Great communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field - 5+ years of experience as a product owner - Experience with hands-on building of AI/ML solutions, including agents/chat bots, as well as prompt engineering - Analytical background and experience working with large data sets to analyze user behavior, understand how data flows between systems, gather insights, and monitor metrics - Ability to gather requirements, write user stories, and define vision and strategy - Strong proficiency in writing SQL queries - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, AI engineers, BAs, QAs, and leadership - Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, shifting environment - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker - Background in the supply chain, transportation, or SaaS industries
