As an AGV Robot technician, you will:

Provide electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting in support of both STTT and MHE AGV systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, AGVs including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues.Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Provide basic operation/troubleshoot training to line technicians, Planners and MEs.Review CAD layout and SAP setup for Logistics storage locations. Work with Logistics Engineers to implement changes to the layout, routing, programming for any changes to the AGV/Logistics pathwaysWork with AGV supplier for any needed changes to the system requiring supplier inputEvaluate and troubleshoot any issues related to AGV Delivery systems, develop running action list and coordinate routine touchpoints with operations and engineering for timely resolution of actionsEvaluate AGV pathways and make recommendations for efficiency improvements for better utilization of systemsMaintain KPIs that show AGV utilization, process improvements and improvement actions for KPIsASRS technology and troubleshootingCobot Technology and troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications:

Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing experienceIntermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. Capable of functioning independently) using Standard Assembly tools (torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, etc.) and their applications

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

One opening is on the 1st shift and one opening is on the 2nd shift. Position requires the ability to flex shifts when needed. Entry pay is $27.50/hour. The 2nd shift position will receive an additional 8%-night premium.

Shift Schedule:

1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6 AM-2:30PM

2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 2PM-10:30PM

Employees should make their current supervisor aware of their application. Employees in their current role less than 6 months or on active L3 discipline are not eligible for consideration. The 6-month rule also applies to promotions in place (including Assembler-1 to Assembler-2, Welder-1 to Welder-2, Warehouse Associate to Logistics Coordinator, etc.).

Summary Pay Range:

$27.50 - $34.40

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
