The Opportunity: Master the Turf

Step onto the greens of a premier AAA Four Diamond destination and learn what it takes to maintain championship-level golf courses. This isn't just a summer job; it’s a 13–14 week deep dive into the science and artistry of Agronomy. As an Agronomy Intern, you will work directly with our lead Agronomists to manage everything from soil health and irrigation to the high-level administrative side of resort operations.

Reel maintenance, PM schedules, and inventory management.

POs, invoicing, time edits, and budget planning.

What You’ll Do

Championship Maintenance: Implement daily schedules to keep our courses in peak "tournament-ready" condition. Precision Application: Calibrate spreaders and sprayers; apply fertilizers and pesticides while maintaining meticulous records. Systems Management: Operate advanced irrigation tech, including Toro Lynx and Flowtronics pump stations. Leadership: Step up to lead small crews on specialized projects, honing your management style. Big Picture Strategy: Gain insight into our Turf & Landscape Management Plans, Environmental Programs, and Capital Budgets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Currently enrolled in college-level coursework in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, or a related field. Licensing: Valid Driver’s License required (21+ to drive resort vehicles). Must be able to obtain a state Pesticide Applicator License. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and navigate stairs/slopes in various weather conditions. Mindset: A high degree of problem-solving ability, professional appearance, and a "team-first" attitude.
