40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
We operate a row crop production farm, raising corn and soybeans in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. Employees will operate farm equipment and farm trucks and may perform some in-field tile and excavation work. Workers will assist with all aspects of crop production and complete general farm duties as assigned. Duties also include performing routine repairs and maintenance on farm equipment.

### Minimum Experience Required
The position requires a minimum of three (3) months of related work experience. The worker must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds and perform tasks involving extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements. Work will involve exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. A valid Class D driver’s license is required. The employer enforces a drug-free workplace and will conduct post-hire random drug testing at no cost to the employee; failure to pass a drug test will result in termination.

### Additional Compensation
Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid $20.00/hr if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
