Who You Will Work With:
During this internship, the candidate will gain hands‑on experience working within an agile delivery squad on real initiatives. They will support day‑to‑day delivery by helping plan, track, and organize work while learning core agile and delivery practices.
The intern will collaborate closely with squad leadership and team members, contribute to backlog preparation and agile ceremonies, and help track progress, risks, and action items. With mentorship, they will also support continuous improvement by helping assess team maturity and identify ways of working more effectively.
What You Will Do:
Support an agile squad in applying and maintaining core agile practices
Assist with backlog preparation, refinement, and prioritization activities
Support agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Track and surface blockers, risks, and improvement opportunities raised by the squad
Help assess squad agile maturity against defined criteria
Support continuous improvement efforts by tracking actions from retrospectives
Maintain shared agile artifacts, boards, and documentation
What You Bring:
Ability to stay organized and track work across multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate with squad members and delivery leads
Comfort working in a team environment and participating in daily stand‑ups and meetings
Basic understanding of agile concepts (e.g., sprints, backlogs, ceremonies), or willingness to learn quickly
Attention to detail when tracking progress, risks, blockers, and action items
Ability to follow through on commitments and escalate issues when needed
Non‑Essential (Nice‑to‑Have) Skills & Experiences:
Prior exposure to agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar work‑tracking tools
Experience supporting project coordination, delivery, or operational work in a team setting
Interest in delivery management, agile practices, or technology platforms
Experience documenting processes or maintaining shared team artifacts
What We’re Offering:
The hourly pay range for this position is $21 to $23, and the internship term runs from May to August 2026. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge. An internship opportunity at Interac also features:
