Role Overview:
The Scrum Master is a servant leader and skilled facilitator dedicated to empowering agile teams and championing the agile framework. Acting as an ambassador of the agile mindset, the Scrum Master coaches and mentors’ teams, driving continuous improvement through feedback, retrospectives, and the promotion of Scrum values such as commitment, openness, and respect. This role proactively identifies and removes obstacles that impede progress, shields teams from external distractions, and fosters a collaborative environment among development teams, product owners, and key stakeholders. As a change agent, the Scrum Master advocates for organizational agile transformation, enabling innovation and sustained improvement.
This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration. #LI-Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a servant leader and facilitator for agile teams or kanban boards, ensuring effective delivery within the Agile framework. Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders, promoting agile principles and best practices. Champion a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and encouraging constructive feedback. Identify and remove barriers to team progress, enabling teams to achieve sprint objectives efficiently. Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions, maintaining focus on priorities. Promote Scrum values and foster collaboration across teams and functions. Drive agile transformation within the organization, advocating for ongoing innovation and improvement.Certifications
Required: CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I)Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in Agile environments Proven success in coaching cross-functional teams and facilitating Agile adoptionSkills & Competencies
Strong facilitation, servant leadership, and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and foster continuous improvement Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe) is a plusTools & Practices
Proficiency in Agile lifecycle tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, backlog refinement, and metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown)
