As an Associate in Agency Securities Finance Operations, you play a key role in supporting our securities lending and cash reinvestment trading desks. You ensure smooth trade settlements, manage collateral, and drive process improvements that benefit our clients and business. Job responsibilities
Provide operational support for Securities Lending and Cash Reinvestment Trading desksMonitor client sales and ensure adequate inventory for settlementAssist trading desks with recalls, swaps, proxy events, buffer management, Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) rebalance and client transitionsOversee securities lending trades to ensure timely settlement and resolve issues with counterparties and agent banksManage corporate actions and manufactured income events, providing oversight and escalation for Asia PacificProcess and monitor reinvestment desk trades to ensure settlementMaintain sufficient collateral for stock on loan, including cash, non-cash collateral, and bilateral repurchase agreementsReview and report daily compliance dataDeliver metrics and commentary to senior operations managersTrain and develop junior staff membersDrive efficiencies and support automation using digital tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, and PythonRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
At least 4 years of experience in Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Corporate Actions, Settlements, Trade Support or Middle Office related rolesSound knowledge of global financial marketsProven ability to work in a dynamic operations environment under pressure and to strict deadlinesDemonstrated history of process improvementsStrong understanding of Microsoft ExcelControls-focused mindsetPrior experience with workflows of a custodianBachelor’s degreePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
