### Job Duties Start Date: 04/20/2026 End Date: 11/24/2026 Hours: 48 hours/week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hours/day, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. The start and end of the workday depend on crop and weather conditions, which means work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Must Apply By: 08/08/2026 Job Duties: Workers will perform a variety of tasks related to sod production, delivery, and installation. Duties include preparing soil for sod installation at job sites by digging, raking, leveling soil, and installing sod. Workers may also install shrubs, trees, dirt, mulch, and rock as needed. Operate equipment used in sod field operations, loading trucks, delivering, and installing sod, including skid steers, forklifts, tractors, and trucks. Perform field work such as cutting, mowing, and maintaining established grass. Workers may drive vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVW) of less than 26,001 pounds. Deliveries will occur within Anoka or Washington Counties and within 25 miles of the employer’s headquarters. A 30-minute meal break will be offered. Additional duties include maintaining farm equipment, buildings, and property; cutting and loading sod onto trucks and trailers; and delivering products to customers and installation sites. Workers will perform other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. ### Minimum Education Required No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Worker must be at least 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Worker must be able to exert maximum physical effort to lift, push, pull, unload, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Worker must be able to perform physically demanding work in extreme temperatures, including extensive pushing or pulling, prolonged walking, standing, sitting, frequent stooping, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, balancing, and repetitive movements for extended periods. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
