### Job Duties Start Date: Apr 10, 2026 End Date: Nov 23, 2026 54 hours per week, Mon-Sat, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Must apply by: Aug 2, 2026 Load and unload crops or material containers manually or with conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, and transfer augers. Mix and apply specified materials, chemicals, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides using sprayers, traps, and related equipment to control insects, rodents, weeds, fungus, and crop diseases. Operate, monitor, and adjust agricultural machinery—including tractors, combines, irrigation systems, seed drills, sprayers, and manure spreaders—and observe equipment performance to detect malfunctions. Attach, adjust, repair, and service farm implements using hand tools and notify supervisors of equipment issues. Load hoppers and conveyors, weigh and record crop quantities, and maintain accurate records of pesticide use, yields, and costs. Drive trucks to transport crops, supplies, tools, and workers. Direct and monitor planting, weeding, and harvesting crews; participate in inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest handling of crops; report crop progress to farm managers; and clean work areas, maintain farm buildings and grounds, and perform general planting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, and maintenance tasks. ### Minimum Education Required None ### Minimum Experience Required This position requires a minimum of three months of verifiable experience in agricultural work. Employees must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 60 pounds. A valid driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and certain duties may require a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. A criminal background check is required post-hire, at the employer’s expense, due to the presence of children on the farm; failure to pass the background check will result in termination of employment. Overtime and holiday work is mandatory. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
