Hours: 48 hours/week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hours/day, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season.

Job Duties: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Direct and monitor the activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain.
Farming with: Alfalfa, Corn, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat
Worker must be available and willing to work the entire season.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Three (3) months of verifiable experience relevant to the job is required. Worker must demonstrate the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Worker must be able to speak and understand English.
Worker must be able to obtain a valid driver’s license within thirty (30) days of hire and maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Worker must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
Worker must be able to perform work that requires extensive sitting and walking.

### Additional Compensation
Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employer's discretion.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
